Zeeland East traveled to Holland on Wednesday for an OK Green conference double-header (rescheduled from Tuesday).  The Chix were victorious in both games, winning by scores of 13-1 and 5-2.

In game one, Max Salas recorded the win on the mound.  Salas went 4 innings allowing no runs on one hit while striking out 9.  Koby Windeler, Max Mulder and Eli Nienhuis combined to finish the final 3 innings only allowing one un-earned run on no hits.

Offensively, Austin Keur and Charlie Lacny each had a pair of hits in the game and scored 3 runs.  Noah DeWitt, Joe Hilbink, Trevor Raade and Quincy Thome each added doubles.  Noah DeWitt also scored 4 runs in the game.

In the nightcap, Gavin Drooger pitched the complete game win for Zeeland East.  Drooger went 7 innings and allowed 2 unearned runs on 4 hits while striking out 8.

Offensively, Joe Hilbink led the charge with 3 hits and two runs scored in the game.  Austin Keur, Noah DeWitt, Aidan Coutts and Trevor Raade each added two hits.  Charlie Lacny chipped in with a double and a run scored.

Zeeland East improves to 14-0 in the OK Green and 21-2 overall on the season.  They host Holland on Thursday to finish the 3-game series.
